Nancy Fulton
Nancy Fulton is an artist, a photographer, a painter and a registered architect. Her varied background in the arts influences the way she looks through her camera lens. A sense of space, place, form, color and composition are apparent throughout her work. Her artwork has been in numerous juried, solo, and group exhibitions, and is in a number of private collections.
Fulton, the youngest of a large family, grew up on five acres of rolling land in suburban New England. She is currently based in Somerville, MA. She enrolled in photography classes while earning her Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Boston Architectural College in Boston, MA. Her architectural work has ranged from projects for individual homeowners to the Smithsonian Museum. She continued her studies of photography through classes at the Griffin Museum of Photography, Winchester, MA, and the School at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, MA as well as through various workshops. An award winning watercolor painter, her love of photography has taken over her artistic expression.
